Bow Hunters & Archery Enthusiasts!

We are very excited to announce a new beginning for the Northern Lakes Archers Bow Club in Townsend. The club had to close several years ago but there is now a renewed interest in reestablishing the club. The club operates a 28-target field course on Town of Townsend property. In addition to the field course there is a practice target area and an elevated stand.

The good news is that most of the target butts are still on the course and useable, and the elevated stand platform is in good shape.

The course however has had storm damage and there is a lot of work to be done to remove downed trees and reestablish the walking course and repair the targets before we can reopen the range.

We are looking for individuals and families who would be interested in joining the club, helping to restore the range, and shooting the course. There will be an organizational meeting this spring, followed by some workdays once the snow is melted and the frost is out.

If you are interested, please contact Don Solberg. You can call or text him at 262- 490-6168, or by email dsolberg8132@gmail.com
